My Causal/Everyday Make up routine!

Hello! Today I am going to Blog to you how I do my daily/casual make up look! I would say this type of make up is suitable for summer time especially as I use different gold and brown colours, as well as for just going out and about! So below is a picture of me with the final make up look. I hope you enjoy these step by step guidelines! :D

My Everyday Make up look!

OK so the first thing I want to mention are what make up brushes I use. I use Real Techniques brushes, now depending on your views each brush set retails at about £22 which I think personally think is quite pricey but are lovely brushes. I got these mainly as birthday and Christmas gifts, but if you want some cheaper brushes then I recommend Primark! They actually have some really soft and effective brushes retailing at about £1-£3 each so definitely more affordable.
As you can see these are my brushes (They really do need a clean!)

On a slight side note if you want to clean your brushes one of my friends told me about this trick (Holly) and I now swear by it. Clean your make up brushes with baby shampoo because it doesn't have harsh chemicals in, but gets rid of the dirty make up on them.

Before I put my foundation on I like to use this primer, it is by Nivea and makes your skin soooo soft! It cost £5 but you only need a tiny amount to cover your whole face. I have had this primer for about 2 months and have used about 1/8 of the pot so definitely worth the purchase and is great value for money.
Dream satin liquid foundation by Maybelline New York. I love this foundation I picked this up because I needed a new foundation but didn't have time to test different ones. I found the right shade and then put it in my basket. It was on offer when I bought it for £6 I believe. It is currently retailed at £7.99 in Superdrug. I have oily and dry skin and I feel that with my primer underneath this foundation is perfect for my skin type. It also doesn't leave an orangey tinge which I have had with some other brands.
This picture isn't massively clear so apologies for that. This is Rimmel Londons Wake me up Concealer. I do also have the Rimmel London Wake me up foundation, I have bought different shades of this product but I still couldn't find one that matched my skin nicely. The foundation also is quite thick which is good for a party or night out look but for everyday use I found it was a bit too much. The concealer however, I do still like because it's even thicker than the foundation so covers up my nice dark bags under my eyes! This retails at £5.49 which I feel is a bit pricey but again it depends on what your views are.
With the foundation I wear for this look it doesn't necessarily need powder on top but if I have a lot of spots or feel that my foundation looks a bit shiny I like to use this power. The Miss Sporty powder retails at £1.99 so is nice and cheap.
Now I am not great at contouring my skin, my friends are practically professionals when it comes to contouring. I use this blusher from Avon it's a medium brown colour so is just slightly darker than my foundation. I am thinking of buying some contouring creams to see if they will make it easier for me. I am afraid I am not sure how much this costs but I would guess around £3-£4?
I bought this blusher a long time ago, in fact I should probably buy a new one but I love the colour of it. In this picture it looks ridiculously bright, but it isn't I promise! It is just a light pink. I believe it retails at £1.99 from Boots and is Boots own range of make up. They constantly have an offer of 3 pieces for £5 so it's a cheap brand but good value for money.
HIGHLIGHTER! My favourite make up product I love it! It is basically like brushing glitter on your face (some people may not want a glittery face so if not skip this part!) This highlighter is from MUA (Make up Academy) which is a very cheap brand of make up in Superdrug. I believe this cost me £3, MUA also sell a pinky highlighter as well as this iridescent gold shade.
That's my face part done, now for my/your eyes. My mum bought me this eye shadow palette for Christmas and it's lovely! The pigment in each colour is incredible for the price (£15 I believe) there is basically a colour for every outfit. This palette is from the make up brand called Revolution and is another cheap source.
From that palette these are the three colours I used on my eyes. Also that Brown colour above is what I use for my eyebrows. I only use a slight bit of it on my brush otherwise my brows would look like the Crayola factory gone wrong!
This Eyeliner I got in a Christmas Advent calender (it was pretty cool) so I don't think you could buy it singly. Personally I prefer liquid Eyeliner than gel but that is just personal preference so try some different types out and see what ones you like best!
The mascara on the left was also from my Christmas advent calender so again you may be able to by it singularly but I am not 100% sure! The mascara on the right is by New York Collection and is great for making your eyelashes look long and not to thick. It retails at £2.49 so is affordable too.  As you can see I have put a picture of my eyelash curlers mainly because I love and swear by them. However be careful not to rip your eyelashes out, that would be painful and wouldn't look great, unless you want to rock the bald eye look but if you do go for it! :P
The final part to this look is my lipstick which is also from MUA at Superdrug. All the lipsticks from MUA retail at £1, which just makes me so happy! I am pretty sure I have got at least 6 or 7 of these in different shades! I believe this shade is shade 10 they don't have fancy names just numbers!

OK so that is how I did this everyday/casual make up look! I hope you have enjoyed reading this and will continue to read my posts. Please feel free to email me with suggestions of what you would like to read. Follow me on twitter my name is @MossyBlogspot

Good afternoon fellow people of the universe!

OK so I am rubbish I said I would post the other day and I didn't! Utterly disgusted in myself, I do apologise! I have been stuck in doors doing revision for my AS levels. I currently study Graphics, Law and English Literature. Ah the joys of Jane Eyre! If any of you fellow readers out there are doing English Literature tell me what books you are studying and whether you like them or not! Or in fact just some good books you could recommend to me because every time I try to find a good book, I end up picking the worst and most boring one I could possibly find, which then puts me off reading.

Anyway enough of the boring school stuff! Yesterday I went to visit my sisters new flat which was quite nice, however we have a Nissan Leaf (electric car) and therefore with having to stop to charge, the journey increased from 2 hours and 30 minutes to 4 hours. Therefore travelling for a total of 8 hours which, for an anxiety prone person, isn't great to be honest.

I don't really know what people reading this want me to write about so if you have any suggests feel free to drop me an email or direct message me on twitter. I think I will do things like shopping hauls and beauty reviews. I have also debated whether to do YouTube videos so let me what you also think of that! Feel free to also subscribe to my blog I am just an average 16 year old girl I just want people to enjoy reading what I write.

Also guys if any of you out there are having problems with anything like exams, relationships etc then again feel free to drop me an email and I will try and help as much as I can!

OK that's all from me today. I hope you have enjoyed reading today's entry. Let me know what you all want to read about!

Bye Mosslings!
